We made it back from NM last weekend and I am just now getting around to updating the blog! Bad blogger! Anyway, we had a great time. We spent time in Clovis as well as Ruidoso and got to see Brady's folks, my mom and my grandmother. Quite a busy trip indeed! One of the big highlights for Ian was the SNOW in Ruidoso. It has been at least 2 years since he last saw snow. So he took advantage of that priceless commodity. Since the snow was old snow, it wasn't the best for making snowmen or snow angels, but it made nice, ice-filled snow balls! The cabin has a nice steep slope in the back, so I went rummaging through the house to find an appropriate sledding device for Ian. Turns out the lid to a plastic, kitchen trashcan works GREAT! He spent hours sliding down the hill having a blast. Mommy decided to get in on the action as well and has one GIGANTO bruise on her bum to show for it. It is amazing the colors your body can turn!
