Ian begged to make buttery lemon cookies the other night. These are great to make because not only are they tasty, but they are fun to make since you have to roll them out and cut them into shapes. We chose to make this batch heart-shaped! The kids both helped to roll dough, to cut the dough and to sprinkle the cookies with sugar. The cookies turned out great and although I had an enormous mess to clean up, it was worth it. As I always say, there is nothing better than happy, dirty kids!
