A couple of months ago we took a daytrip with friends out to Krause Springs. Now for those of you that don't know, Krause Springs is a local swimming hole. The property boasts something like 32 springs, but I've only been to the main area. It is so nice because the water is cool (in fact a bit cooler than I prefer) and there are these towering cypress trees that hang over the water. It's gorgeous and a great place to spend a hot, Texas afternoon!
Ian has been with me before, but this was our first visit with Ainsley and we were even able to talk Nana in to coming along!

We had an awesome day with family and good friends! We will definitely visit more often next summer!
