Ian babysits a DRAGON!

OK, technically we're talking a bearded dragon, but still, a large reptile nonetheless! Our friends the Brunet Family do alot of traveling in the summertime. They are teachers so they take off camping for months at a time. So we have offered again this summer to sit for their little beastie. Spike is a good lizard, eats well, stays pretty quiet and is the cutest thing you ever saw when he's sleeping on his piece of driftwood (well depending on whether you find lizards cute or not, but we do!). Ian adores having him around, he likes to pet him and hold him and most of all feed him these enormous meal worms. That lizard would eat buckets of those things if given the chance! He pounces right on them and makes the most disgusting crunching noises while he eats them. Ian loves that part! Anyway, here are some photos of the boy and the beastie!
