Last week in co-op we began discussing plants. Mostly plant anatomy. The other mommy that co-hosted with me, sprouted some beans for us to dissect and some to plant. Ian picked a little black bean and it didn't seem like much was happening, then all of a sudden, Sunday morning there was a little bean plant! My mom says it will most likely die if we can't plant it outdoors soon, so I hope he's not too attached to it. It will be a couple of weeks before I have my raised beds done. But what a wonderful experience for him, he wants to look at it all the time, see how much it's grown. He is very proud of his beanie! I think he will really enjoy the vegetable garden!
